Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Connecticut

wills

I am married to a man with two children. If my husband dies will they be able to come after our estate (house, properties, financial investments)? There is no will drawn up at this time so would his sons have any legal rights to our money?

Re: wills

I am assuming the 2 sons are by another woman. First of all, things that are in both names (yours and his) will pass to you on his death. They don't pass through an estate, will or no will. As to things that are in his name alone, you get the first $100,000, and everything over that is split 50% to you and 50% to the sons.
