Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in District of Columbia

loan repayment

I loaned my son-in-law a large sum of money in march 2004 and waited til he was able to repay. We had a verbal/written agreement and I want to attempt to collect on the debt now through the courts, is it too late?

It would appear that your right to enforce this particular contract in the courts of the District of Columbia expired in March of 2007.
