Legal Question in Family Law in District of Columbia

Joint Custody

i have joint legal/physical custody with my child mother and according to the court order i am suppose to have my son with me from Friday mourning to Sunday evening. she was obeying the order for two months then his mother kept him from me for 4 weeks because i don't give her money. according to the court order i don't have to give her anything. I filed for a motion of contempt against her. is there a chance that i can get full custody of my son?

hearing the matter will most probably require that the mother found in contempt make up the visitation time which she improperly denied you.
