My fiancé is in the US on an expired visa

My fiancé recently shared with me that she is in the US on an expired visitor’s visa. What are our options for proceeding w/ the marriage?

An expired visitor's visa implies that she entered the U.S. legally, which would allow you to marry her and proceed with an adjustment of status.
