Legal Question in Employment Law in District of Columbia

Letter?

Are there any legal forms or letters I can use in place of my birth certificate? I could order a new one but it wouldn't get here in time...please help!

Re: Letter?

No, none that I know of that can adequately substitute for a properly certified copy of an originial birth certificate.

I looked on-line, and it appears you can order your birth certificate and have it delivered in just a couple of business days for around $40 with overnight shipping (or $20 plus shipping). Look here:

I have not ever used one of these services, so I am not recommending them of any personal knowledge. Just trying to help.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no forms or letters that can be used in place of a birth certificate.
