Legal Question in Traffic Law in District of Columbia

I went to the DMV webpage and couldn't find anything regarding the 20 day issue you cited above. My advice would be to do all the digging you can to find out if you need to go to Court, if you need to pay the fee, etc. The last thing you want is to not pay a fine, miss a court date, have a warrant issued for your arrest, and then get arrested in the future when you innocently get pulled over for speeding or having a tail light out.
