Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

City Ordinances

I own my own food and beverage business and a contract with a major retail store to sell food outside the store. At one of my locations the city will not issue me a permit to do so. They don't issue permits to mobile food units. Is there any way to fight them?

Re: City Ordinances

You need a lobbyist or publicist to go down to City Hall and gauge your chances in proposing a City Ordinance on Food Vending. Speak with a local City Councilman. You may also take the postion that since there is no law against it, it is permitted. Good luck.
