Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
LLC Laws
My husband and another guy went into business together and the business was an LLC partnership. My husband recently walked away from the company, from being treated unfairly. The partner would never sign an agreement. If there is no agreement set up, is my husband responsible for any taxes?

Re: LLC Laws
He is liable for taxes if he is a member of the LLC, which is a company and not a partnership. He needs to get out of the LLC as soon as possible. An attorney can facilitate this so it is done correctly.
