Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Does chpt.7 discharged debt always mean higher interest on future purchases?

Having been discharged of all credit card debt under chpt.7 recently, is it true that I must pay a much higher interest rate if and when I obtain a future loan, even if such is not a credit card loan? Example; a car or mortage loan, after having paid past debts in full and in a timely manner.
