Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

A year and a half ago I had a reposession. I ended up contacting an attorney due to violations of the fdcpa and they settled. I was told that the debt was going back to the original lender. I am wanting to purchase a home however I cannot get anyone from the original lender to return my calls. I dont know who to contact regarding working out this debt. Is there anything else I can do or do I just have to wait?

Is the debt still on your credit report: is that what you are stating? If so, go to my web site under sample forms and see the letter to the credit bureaus. Contact a consumer lawyer in your area if the letter does not make it go away. For a consumer lawyer in your area, go to
