Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

In 1998 The state agreed to drop charges against me, then i now find out after years later that the did not , they were going to drop them to misserminor charges, I am insolvent, what can I do, I am on miami florida?

You can get a lawyer to see if they will dismiss the charges or see if they will not be able to prove the charge after all these years. Just because it is older does NOT mean they can't go forward, so it is best to get yourself a lawyer right away.
