Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

If your in jail for a dui Manslauter death of a quick child you have not been in any trouble for 25 years Your doctor says you had a seizer your on low dose pain meds you have been on these meds for 25 years you dont over take them you were never told you could not drive you never signed anything at your doctors office stating you couldnt drive you were unaware you were having seizers your being treated with meds for seizers now none of your perscripition bottles have labels saing you cant drive or that they cause dizziness ect. DA already has statements from doctors and medical records ect why is it that you can not get out of jail it was an accident not a crime they have the proff Can you tell me what they are doing i have a public Defender and this has been 44 days and i cant seem to find out whats going on she doesnt return my calls emails please can you give me an idear of whats next and whypeople already recieved a civil suit 150,000 why 9 months latter are they pursuing a accident when they know what happened and have proff.

You need to hire a private attorney if you want to have all of these types of questions answered. We cannot say why the state attorney does what they have done in your case, but they are charged with prosecuting crime, and dui manslaughter is a crime.
