If you mean the US Supreme Court, the term begins the first Monday in October and ends at the end of June the follwoing year. All opinions will be issued by June.

If you're talking about the Florida supreme court, it usually takes between a few weeks to a few months.

To pick up on Mr. Rose's answer, I've seen many cases where the FL Supremes can take over a year. It all depends on not just their calendar, but also how easily they reach an opinion. Generally, the faster the opinion, the easier the decision. Usually if the Court is taking a longer than normal time to issue its opinion, something pretty major is going to come down.

(Again though. That's for the Florida Supremes.)
