Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

Quick question, If I had my license suspended for 5 years for a second DUI. Do I still need to get a ignition device when I have my license reinstated or was that for if I had obtained a hardship license. Basically I waited 5 years , never got my hardship license.

Thank you.

You shouldn't but if the DMV requires it, you will. They may require it because it was probably ordered as a condition and the DMV may consider that a condition that you didn't complete and won't give you your license until you do that. It is similar to not paying a fine and they won't reinstate your license until you pay. However, you're not going to know until you go to the DMV.
