Legal Question in Elder Law in Florida

We are having trouble with our neighbors coming onto our property late at night. We have reported this to the Sheriff's Dept. and have posted our property No Trespassing. We have cameras installed and have a picture. Can we prosecute through the State's Attorney or do we have to hire a lawyer?

contact your local police agency. If they feel a crime has been committed they will forward it to the state attorney for your county.

I would suggest that you document your case so that it will be clear to the police that you are serious and have taken steps to give them an ironclad case case against the trespassing neighbors. You should be ready to indicate to the police that in your view this as a serious matter and you're willing to press hard to prosecute the case if they can't be resolved by the people who are trespassing to cease and desist from any further trespassing on your property. If you feel the need to get assistance from me this will work to your benefit because it shows that you are not only willing to gather evidence in but you're also willing to put up money for a lawyer to make sure that this is resolved to your satisfaction. If you would like to discuss with us with me e-mail me your phone number to discuss this further. Good luck.
