Contempt of Court related to Alimony

Ex-wife got a comtempt of court notice served on me for failure to pay alimony after I lost my job. I need advice as to how to proceed from here.

Hire a lawyer. Failure to pay alimony can land you in jail.

Your defense will probably be something like "inability to pay," but you don't want to risk going to jail because you didn't have a lawyer to help you.
