My husband wants to get divorce. We

own a house and we agree to keep it

for 2 years get more money out of the

house. My question is we are

refinancing the house and my husband

did not add my name in the loan. Can I

my part of the house?

The borrowers listed on the mortgage have no effect as to the ownership of the home. What matters is the name on title on the property.

Review your deed and make sure you are listed as one of the owners. If you are not sure, I would suggest that you consult with a qualified attorney to protect your rights.
