Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

im trying to establish paternity. I need to petition the court for a paternity test to go for child support. However I live in florida and so does my child. Her father lives in Colorado. What can i do or what do i need to do here in florida to be active in colorado as well?

You can file in Florida and have him served in Colorado. Florida is the proper place for jurisdiction because the child is located here.
