If supervised visitation was Ordered, have her follow the Ordered process. See if she bothers to do so. If you believe that her visitation should be further restricted and/or eliminated, then we should petition the Court for a modification.

If you want to modify the Court Ordered custody/visitation, the retainer would likely be $2,400.00.

An internet inquiry is no substitution for an in-office consultation with an attorney.

If your situation falls within the Greater Tampa Bay area, I would be happy to schedule you for a no obligation half hour office consultation. The main office is in Dunedin, with a satellite location in Tampa.

The best interests of the child governs. You have given no reason to deny visitation of the mother.

She may have been in jail. You might want to check her records to see - if would help you in your custody. However, if she has supervised - then she has a right. Yes, it may confuse the child but honestly it was your duty to let this child know their was a mother out there and talk good about her.
