You would be advised to sit down with an attorney in your area to specifically understand your rights. Generally, realize that if you were married, then there are no paternity issues, but if you have never been married, then a Court order has never been in place saying the father is "the father". That would mean that the court has not addressed the issue of his parental rights, if any.

You will need to address the issue of paternity, child timesharing, and child support in court. Not for you, but for your child. Once you file in court, he will be barred from removing the child out of State because of a specific Florida child relocation statute. Good luck!
