Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am a mother who has had to deal with alot of disgusting accusations from my childs paternal family for the last 8 years.I have tried to deal with it,but am longer able to care for my child, emotionally or financially.I wish to terminate my parental rights to the child.Technically I am still custodial parent, what are my options?I know this seems terribly cold blooded, but I just can't take this anymore, and would just as soon let him live with his fathers family where he seems to be happiest.I'm not a bad mother,I don't beat my child or neglect him,I am just completely emotionally detached from him.

tell your child's father you wish to terminate your rights. I am sure they will run to the courthouse to get the appropriate papers filed - you just need to sign and consent to them.
