If a NON-married mother and father separate:
-the mother has temporary custody and child support
-the father gets married
Can the mother claim an adjustment in child support due to the combining of the new wife's assets with the father?

Generally, the computation of a child support obligation is based only on the incomes of the child's birth parents.
