Spouse abandoned us, house, dogs, everything

He refinanced the house in his name before he left. He has never paid a payment and now they want to foreclose. Since he moved out of state, is he responsible for paying the loan for his child's home?

If the house is in his name, he has a legal responsiblity to pay the note on the home. It may take the filing of a Divorce for a Judge to spell out his legal responsibility to his child. You should consult with a Family Law attorney.
