Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Unjust Acts!!!!!!!!!

My boyfriend's soon to be ex-girlfriend is pregnant. She says it is by him but no one thinks it is. He even wants a blood test because she has never been faithful too him. He is staying with her until he finds out if that is his baby. If it turns out to actually be his baby, she told him that if he ever leaves her that he can never see his baby. Is she allowed to do this?

Re: Unjust Acts!!!!!!!!!

No. The general answer and rule is that she cannot do this. (Of course, there are always exceptions to the general rules.) However, your boyfriend will probably have to, and probably should, file a paternity case. If it is determined that your boyfriend is the father, then he would be entitled to visitation with his child if he does not seek custody. And, of course, he will be obligated to pay child support.

I strongly suggest you consult with an attorney who can review all of the facts of the case and give a complete opinion based on those facts.
