Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Visitation rights

I wasn't married to my girlfriend but we have a son who is five years old. We are no longer together and she recently moved to miami, fl. I pay child support thru a nyc court order. She doesn't let me see my son, nor speak with him on the phone. How do i file for visitation? What are my rights, flordia laws? Neither one of us has a legal document of custody. I miss my son and want to be a part of his life. Please help.

Re: Visitation rights

it depends upon when she moved. there are ways to get visitation through the family court and possibly to have your support modified due to increased expenses for travel etc. you can call me for free telephone consultation at 516 466 5297

Re: Visitation rights

There are remedies you can obtain either in NY or Fl. Since they are here, it may be advantageous to pursue the matter in Fl. Good luck.
