Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

w-2 information

I was just told by the ex's attorney that I have to give over my new spouses w-2 to make out whether i can pay the attoreny fee's and the ''new child support he is trying to put on me. I have become disabled in the past year and have not worked at all..is this legal? and how come i can't protect me new spouse from this ?

You should object to any request for information regarding your new spouse and not surrender it unless ordered by a judge. Only rarely will a judge allow discovery of a new spouse's financial information.
