Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

hi me and my wife are getting a divorce and there are 2 children involved. Ive left the state we lived in with the 2 kids on her request and she has already involved herself with another man less then a week after i left, fortunately there is no hate involved and we want this to be clean and easy as we are still close and remain friends my question lies in the kids. Ive been taking care of them for 7 months now with no help from her how will child support be assigned and is there a way to refuse it altogether? also id like to know can we both still file them on our taxes?

If you both agree on how custody and visitation are to be awarded, the judge will follow your written agreement. Also, the IRS will follow your agreement on how you will split the child dependency deductions.

You should consult a family law attorney on how to legally move the kids. There are certain written procedures that both spouses must follow to make a move compliant with Florida law.
