Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

condo by-laws

Our condo association has 4 deeded docks that are individually owned. The ownership is the rights to 1 sq. foot of space. The docks and sea wall are association ''common property''.

One dock owner is renting his boat slip. The canal we live on has allowed live aboards; however, our by-laws state ''no live aboards'' are allowed. The by-laws were adopted in 2003. Can the by-laws override the past precedent?

Thank you.
