Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I have been living with a man for almost 6 years. Four years in RI and the past 2 years in Hernando County Florida. I have asked him to leave because our relationship has deteriorated terribly. We live in my mother's house. She died last October and the house now legally belongs to my brother. Neither of us have a written rental agreement with my brother. I have a verbal agreement with my brother to pay the mortgage and utilities to remain in the house. His intention is to quick deed the house to me soon. My x has no claim to the house, but he simply will not move out. How do I legally get him out?
