Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

When my son was 3 years old when Social Securityy denied he was disabled. Ten years or so later, Social Security said they made a mistake and all the past months were paid to us. In 1993 I bought a house for my kids and I. My son who is an adult now, says he owns the house, yet he did not contribute any to the care or mortgage for 11 yrs.. Who is legally owner of the house? I was a single parent with no child support and am disabled myself.

I believe that SS for a disabled child is paid to the parent(s) of the child for his/her care. The checks were sent to you, correct? The money was for you to provide for his basic needs in whatever manner you saw fit. The child did not buy the house. The child benefited from having a roof over his head.
