Nursing home negligence

Do I need representation by an attorney when being deposed for a potential case? How can I protect myself from the plaintiff attorney?

Re: Nursing home negligence

Plaintiff's lawyers are not bad people! lol.

If you are an employee of the nursing home that is being sued, then the company's lawyer will be able to meet with you and provide you with assistance. If you have been named as a defendant or are a potential defendant, then the insurance company that would provide you coverage would hire a lawyer for you. If you involvement is ministereal and minor you may not need any assistance at all.

If you can let me or another lawyer know why you are being deposed and what your role is in the controversy, then you can get a better answer.
