Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

In 1999 I had an accident with out insurance. They (state farm) sued me in 2001.. Judgement placed in 02 for 36,000 +interest and court costs . They have suspended my DL and demanded I carry a sr-22 . I have paid 100.00 a month (on average)I got my DL back and carry a sr-22. (not for dui) . I have no idea how much I owe. They do not send me anyhting. This will never be paid off at the interst rate and amount they are asking. I have no assets or money ( no job either) What can I do ?How long is this enforceable ? Would bankruptcy help my situation ( I have good credit otherwise) Please help. any info will be appreciated .If I need a lawyer. what kind of lawyer should I call and can anyone help or am I just doomed ?

A judgment is good for 10 years and can be renewed for another 10 years. I wouldn't do a bankruptcy for such a small amount.

The interest rate cannot be more than the legal rate in 1999. Demand a payout.
