Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

My daughter was in accident where she accidentlly backed into a motorcyle driver in a parking lot. The car is in my name and she is insured under my policy. The cyclist not claim that because of the accident he reinjury his back. He has hired a lawyer and claims that he has no medical insurance and is unable to pay his debt or get all the care that related to his back injury. My insurance company has agreed to stettle for 10,000 dollar, but today I receive an affadavit asking question about where I work, my annually income, stock and bonds, bank informtion and whatever other assets I have. What should I do in this siuation and what does this all means. Should I hire a lawyer, or should I return the affadavit as asked.

If you have limited insurance coverage, you should have your private attorney look into the matter.

Who sent the affidavit and why would you have to return it? Speak with your insurance company about their offer and the limits of your coverage. It may be good idea to consult with a private attorney, as well.
