Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
is it a florida state law that you need to go to mediation fore a slip and fall accident?

It is not a "law." All courts, however, will require mediation before trial in all except the very unusualy case. The uniform order setting trial in virtually every circuit that I have ever seen requires mediation. It is not binding.

You should speak to your attorney about this, and if you don't have one you should consider getting one. Resolving a case at mediation prior to trial saves time and money. If you cannot resolve it at mediation, you will then go on to trial. Best of luck.
