Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I am getting sued for an accident that happened 6 months ago. The person who is suing me says that there wife was involved in the accident and that she was sent to an ambulance which is a total lie. There was no passenger during the scene of the accident and no ambulance. I have 5 witnesses and the person who is suing me has 0. Is there a way I can counter sue them for mental anguish and stress caused buy the person suing me?

What I would recommend in this situation is to give this information to your insurance company immediately, including the names and numbers of all your witnesses. Armed with this information, your insurance company is going to deny this claim faster than the blink of an eye and will vigorously defend you. Accidents happen, and that's why we have insurance. But when someone tries to take advantage of the system, it hurts all of us in the end. Leave it in the hands of your insurance company. They will handle this in your favor.

Good luck.
