Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

i was out of my truck when valet driver slam my seat back on fix a-flat causing it to explode in truck. I stayed out of the truck at least 20 min. I had to go home amd I put a triple napkin over my nose, I sneezed and the napkin came loose for just a second, the chemical burned my nose. The ins. paid to have new carpet installed. It ruined other items in my truck. I sent a letter to my ins. company for at least to cover my items as well as I would settle for 2500.00 for injury. Ins. said no one at valet hosipital would take the blame. I later called and left a message, claim no. intact and ask for an ins. attorney at their office to represent me, no response. I believe the fix a-flat caused more than just the burn nose. (I saw a doctor)I had to call poison control several times as well as the fix-a flat company. I still have the exploded can as well as a badly burned piece of carpet from my truck and a tisure that I use weeks later when I sneezed and a glob that had stayed over my left eye came loose. Hope you can tell me what I can do and what type of lawyer I need.. I had w/ ins a 25,000.00 uim.

I am not sure of the facts of your case. I will assume you the tire was in your truck and it was your truck we are talking about. If that is the case, UM does not apply. Your PIP will pay for the medical. You will need to see what kind of injury you have before an attorney will handle this based on what you said the injuries are. You can do this by seeing a doctor, probably and ENT. PIP will pay for it, but make sure you contact your auto insurance co. to report what happened.

Your PIP will cover $10,000 of medical bills. It does not appear that you have a permanent injury of much of an injury case.
