Legal Question in Product Liability in Florida

False Advertisement?

I bought a car last September and I do love the car. There are two models of this car. One is the 4 Cylinder and one is the 6 Cylinder. I chose the 6 cylinder even though it was a little more expensive, I wanted the better horsepower. About 2 months later, I received a letter that the horsepower on the 6 cylinder is actually less than what had been previously stated. This letter came from the manufacturer, not the dealer. I am a little upset that I spent the extra money on the 6 cylinder only to find out it isn't much better than the 4 cylinder. There is only 30 horsepower difference between them. They offered me an extension on my warranty, but I want to see what my other options are.

Re: False Advertisement?

Have you inquired as to whether someone is looking into a class action suit? What have other purchasers done? Will they refund any $?
