As a homeowner with a home mortgage and a line of credit(separate accounts with the same Lender),is it possible to do a Loan Modification that would consolidate both accounts into one
low monthly payment? I am retired and on a fixed income and my wife is ill.

You can consolidate these loans. Whether you can qualify for such a loan is another story.

Yes you could. You may also want to consider a reverse mortgage if you qualify.
