Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Too many people in a 2 bedroom apartment
I rented to a couple and their 3 children. They now have another adult living in the 2 bedroom apt. The mother and father now sleep with their 3 children in the same bedroom while the other lady sleeps in 1 bedroom.They are also late on rent. What can I do, and is there not a law that prohibits such occupancy.

An attorney would have to consult with you to get

all the facts and circumstances and review your lease

in order to give you an informed opinion as to whether

you could do anything. Assuming the tenants are

inviolation of your agreement, then Florida law

requires you give them notice to correct the problems.

If they do not, then you would have to file an eviction

action. I strongly suggest you seek the advice of an

attorney before taking any action.
