Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Timeshare forclosure

I have a timeshare in Florida though West Gate Resorts, they are letting me voluntarily sign over the deed in lieu of foreclosure. Are there any consequences to this. They say it won't go on my credit report, but I'm hesitant to sign the papers.

Just make sure the promise not to put anything on your credit is in writing and is part of the deal you're making in exchange for the deed.
