Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Probate. If an extension to file the Final Accounting is filed and states the reason they cannot file in the required time (1year from the Letters of Administration) because they are waiting for the IRS. However the IRS sent an 'ESTATE CLOSING DOCUMENT' to the PR exactly one year from LETTERS saying that all estate taxes have been satisfied and keep this documents so you can close the estate. What other reason would the PR be waiting on the IRS for

If all the assets of the estate have been determined and the value of each established (which the value date is the date of death), then there should be no other reason to not file. However, if there is a suit pending and/or a dispute from the heirs as to the inventory, those would have to be cleared up first.
