i need to set up an estate for my father who passed away last year his only asset is a $1500 pention, no will and my sister and i are his only children no living spouse we need the estate to collect how can we do this on our own

You may be able to do a Disposition w/o Administration through the Clerk in the Probate Court. Give them a call to find out what you need. No attorney is required for this procedure and it is for cases such as yours, if you qualify.
