Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Settlement's

I had a major knee injury on the job. I went to a specialist and he recommended theropy. After five months they wanted me to return to work. I then retained a lawyer and thus had the much needed major knee operation that I needed. Now I am going to mediation in a few days. What is the ordinary monitary settlement that comes from something such as this.

Re: Settlement's

Any questions regarding settlement should be directed to your current attorney. You should get the advice of the person who handled your file, not here. The question as to the value of a case cannot be answered with the facts you have presented, and there is no "ordinary" amount of money these cases are worth. The factors depend upon your age, education, work restrictions, potential future medical treatment, and a multitude of other factors that no one can answer with the information you presented. Please discuss any questions with the legal representative currently handling your case. If you don't have enough confidence in him/her handling your file and answering your question, then you may want reconsider your legal representation.
