Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

Provide client a CD with website on if not paid for development nor hosting?

I developed a website since July 2006 and have not been paid for hosting nor development. He is requesting I provide the website on CD and is taking legal action to receive this. I do not think the website is his because I have not been paid. My client has been emailed invoices which I have seen in the trash.

I am actually licensed in Georgia.

If you need an attorney to represent you in this matter, you can contact me to schedule an appointment.

If you are not an LLC or corporation and want to represent yourself, you should do research. Also, you should consider filing a counterclaim within the requisite time and defending based upon his failure to pay. Be mindful, however, of the deadlines for filing a response and counterclaim.
