Marketing to Another Websites Contacts

I wish to start a website in my former industry and there are several websites that charge for what I will be offering for free. Can I look at their sites and see the publicly available contacts, and contact them either by phone or email?

Re: Marketing to Another Websites Contacts

Do you have an enforceable noncompete or a nonsolicitation agreement with a company in your former industry?

Are you using any confidential information or trade secrets to discover these contacts?

If the answer to either of those questions is yes, you probably do not have the right to contact these potential clients. If the answer is no, you may or may not be able to do so. You may want to get with an attorney and give him/her all of the facts and get a legal opinion.
