Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

I have been collecting oldies music for decades and transferred them from records to tape to recordable CDs and then to my computer and I would like to share my music with a friend by sending some from time to time by email attachment. Is this legal?

No, you are stealing someone else's property, unless you own the publishing rights to the music.

No.

The copying to a tape or CD for your own listening is probably legal as it simply allows you to listen to what you purchased.

But when you give it to a friend you have broken a criminal law and also can be sued in civil court.
