Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Purchase of used car

I signed all required paperwork to purchase a used vehicle at a major new automobile dealership. I did not take delivery of the vehicle, I did not give them the down payment money written in the contract and I did not give them my trade in car. I want out of the deal, can they force me to take delivery of the vehicle and execute the contract if I do not want to any longer? Please help...

Re: Purchase of used car

If you signed a contract, you have already "executed" the contract. Read it to see what your obligations are, and whether you can cancel. They can't "force" you to take the car and give them the trade - they can simply sue you for damages for the breach.

When you sign a contract, you are bound by it.
