Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

RV Loan

My wife signed an agreement for a loan a month ago. A trade in was given and paid off on Aug. 18th. Yesterday we received a call stating the loan was no longer approved. The dealership has already sold the trade in and are basically asking us to give them the RV back and accept the fact we have no boat anymore but it is paid off. We call the lender and the only reason why it was turned down is the dealership said they had installed a generator in which they had not. What are our rights in this situation? We live in NC but the transaction was with a dealer in GA.

Re: RV Loan

You don't ever buy a RV, boat or car the way you did. You ALWAYS need to get preapproved financing from your bank and carry that to the dealer. if you apply at the dealer and later get tuend down you end up in the mess you are in. You're at their mercy now. Your best bet is to find a loan on your own if you can (and your contract will say what happens if you do not).
