Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

My boyfriend has recently been charged of theft by taking. Allegedly roughly 6,000-16,000 dollars is missing out of his workplace. He has been one of the managers at work for about a year now but not the only one. Three other managers and also the owner has access to the money as well as the records they keep.

My question is can they still charge him if others have access to the records and money. Also, can they charge him if there is on physical evidence or record of him having or spending anywhere near that amount of money?

You are asking whether they "can" charge him when obviously the answer is yes because they have done so. Beyond that, he should get a lawyer and not a website since the case is certainly not resolved on a couple sentences of one side of the story. However, I'll point out that you are questioning the charges when an obvious omission from your version of the facts is whether he actually did it. He should relay on his lawyer to make his arguments for him.
