If I don't put anything about my retirement account in the divorce papers, can my husband ask for half of it later?

This sounds like you are trying to do it yourself, which is a near-guarantee for disaster. Pay a lawyer to deal with the issue properly.

Is your husband aware of the retirement account and amount? If you are hiding it from him, he could have a reason to go back later and file.
